Having fun in the sun

It was so hot today. Daddy decided to let me play in my kiddie pool to stay cool because it was so uncomfortable inside our house.

I had a great time splashing and playing with my toys. I wish I could play in the water all the time. Maybe Daddy will joing me next time.

My puppies played in the yard and watched me splash. Nike, the lab, wanted to play in the pool too but Daddy said he was too big.

Isn't he a handsome puppy? This is a great picture of Nike. It was a miracle he stayed long enough to pose for a picture.

You can't really tell in this picture, but I got Mommy wet. Hehehe.

Catching up...

Mommy's been super busy so she hasn't updated my blog in awhile. I'm still eating cereal and trying different veggies. So far I've tried butternut squash, sweet potato, and spinich. My favorite so far is sweet potato. When do I get the good stuff?

I got to celebrate Father's Day with my Grandpa. Daddy was out of town so Mommy and I got to spend all weekend with Grandpa and Grandma.

Auntie Amanda's 21st birthday was last Sunday. Happy Birthday Auntie! Mommy and Daddy took her out on her 21 run last night. I wonder why Auntie would want to run for her birthday...but whatever they did, it sounded like they had a great time.

More cake! I think this is the 4th cake in the last 2 months. Why can't I have any yet? This is torture! I hope they let me have some cake when it's my birthday.

Happy 9 Month B-day!

I turned 9 months old yesterday. Mommy and Daddy tells me time flies. I wonder what that means. They also told me they are proud of me and wished I could stay a baby longer. Don't worry...I'll always be cute and sassy.

Jordan is so patient with me. She lets me chew on her big, floppy ears. Not only are they big and easy to grab, they are super soft. The big white blob at the bottom left corner of the picture is my other dog Nike. He's still a puppy so he doesn't have the attention span to model for pictures like us girls.

Did I already tell you how much I love her ears! Jordan is getting me back by licking my toes. It sure tickles.

Happy B-Day Daddy!

Daddy's birthday was on the 6th but we celebrated on the 7th with family and some of our closest friends. Happy Birthday Daddy! I love you!

Daddy's cake looked so yummy. Hurry and open the presents so we can have some cake! Nana also made her famous cinnamon rolls for desert.

Update...

Now that I can sit up by myself, I get to take baths in a Big Girl tub instead of the bathroom sink. I love the water. I hope to start swimming lessons soon.

It is HOT!

These pictures were taken on May 17th. It was so hot that day. It was 92 degrees inside our house! I'm so glad Mommy picked a dress for me to wear that day. Nana gave me this pretty dress before I was even born!



Here's Nike taking a dip in MY pool. He loves the water (go figure, he's a Lab). He is a very good swimmer and his favorite game is to play fetch in the water.


Jordan is a princess and doesn't really like to get wet. She is also a good swimmer but prefers to lay out in the sun.
